Newly designed Party City store relocates in Eastgate

EASTGATE, OH (FOX19) - A revamped Party City store has reopened at a new location in Eastgate.

The new Party City store is located next to Hobby Lobby on Eastgate Blvd. and features a newly designed store layout and displays.

“We are thrilled we could expand to our new location and continue helping Cincinnati residents celebrate special times,” said Russ Watkins, Party City’s district manager. “Party City truly brings the spirit of celebration to the community.

EASTGATE, OH (FOX19) - A Joseph-Beth Booksellers pop-up shop has opened inside the Eastgate Jungle Jim's.

Celebrating works by six local artists in a one-day exhibit and sale

MILFORD, OH (FOX19) - Six greater Cincinnati area artists will come together to present Artist Collection – An Open House on Saturday, April 20 (11 AM – 3 PM).

This special exhibit and sale will feature hand crafted jewelry, pottery, drawings and paintings, mosaics, and fiber wearables. The event will take place at the Wildflower Cottage, 6377 Branch Hill Guinea Pike in Loveland.

Artist Collection is organized by jewelry designer and artist, Heidi Vitchner, owner, Bella Rose Jewelry Design. “I was encouraged by many of my customers to offer an open house where they can see a large collection of my jewelry,” commented Vitchner. “After seeing the Wildflower Cottage, I thought it was an ideal location to include art in other mediums, as well.”

Have a donut on Valentine's Day... it's free

(FOX19) - Every Busken Bakery, Remke-Biggs, and Cincinnati/Dayton United Dairy Farmers will be giving away one free Lite Hearted Donu on Valentine's Day  to every customer while supplies last.

The Lite-Hearted Donu is a heart-shaped glazed donut targeted to calorie-counting consumers. Each donut contains just 140 calories, 2.5 grams of fat, and zero trans fat and zero saturated fat.

“This year we're giving our hearts to the Queen City,” commented Busken Bakery president, Dan Busken. “As it turns out, our hearts are sweet, low calorie, and romantically guilt-free.” 

This will be the largest giveaway in the company’s history, as the combined forces of over 150 stores hands out thousands of free donuts to customers around the city.

The Lite-Hearted Donut™ will be available at all 10 Busken Bakery locations, 135 United Dairy Farmers, and 13 Remke-Bigg’s.

EASTGATE, OH (FOX19) - A local floral company is expanding business to the Eastgate Jungle Jim's and is celebrating their grand opening this week.

Jones the Florist  inside the Jungle Jim’s Eastgate will open on Friday, February 8.

“A lot of people have worked very hard to get ready for this Grand Opening.  We are excited about our future inside Jungle Jim’s,” said Joe Rozier, President of the 147 year old Cincinnati Company.

Rozier reiterated an earlier statement, “The Jungle Jim’s team is one of the most customer-focused and innovative merchandising groups in the country.  These are both qualities that we at Jones value deeply. We are proud to be part of this retail environment.”

"We want to have floral at our Eastside store, and Jones is best in the business." Said 'Jungle' Jim Bonaminio. In addition to being a full service florist, the new Jones store will also sell plants, gift baskets, and many other gift shop accessories.

Jungle Jim's International Market liquor store opens

Jungle Jim's International Market liquor store opens

EASTGATE, OH (FOX19) - Jungle Jim’s International Market in Eastside has opened of one of the largest liquor stores in Ohio.

Jungle Jim’s will now carry hundreds of liquor labels in a 5,000 square feet space. You can locate the liquor store by entering the main entrance or the back entrance by beer and wine.

Liquor store hours are Monday through Saturday 9am to 10pm and Sunday 11am to 10pm.

Jungle Jim’s International Market Eastside opened in September 2012. It is home to thousands of grocery items from all over the world. Jungle Jim’s Eastside is located at 4450 Eastgate South Drive.

Milford offering free tree pick-up

Milford offering free tree pick-up

To assist residents with post-holiday cleanup, Milford is offering free curbside collection of Christmas trees.

The curbside tree collection will be held every Wednesday in January 2013.

The live trees should be completely free of all ornamentation including decorations and placed at the curb.

Trees not meeting the listed requirements will not be collected.
