Net Zero Energy Home Featured at Clermont Homearama

Imagine not having to pay for your home’s energy usage! A net zero energy efficient house is among the six featured homes at the 2012 Homearama at Willows Bend in Miami Township, Clermont County.  “This 5,000 square foot house has a 5kw solar system on the roof,” said Greater Cincinnati Homebuilders Association President Carolyn Rolfes.  “The energy collected by the 22 panels offsets the amount consumed inside the home.”  The 50th anniversary of Homearama runs June 9 through June 24, 2012 and features homes from $675,000 to around $1 million.  It is the first time the show has been held in Clermont County.
