OWENSVILLE (FOX19) -- Clermont County agricultural agencies are inviting local landowners and farmers to an informational breakfast meeting on 9-11 a.m. Thursday at the Clermont Agricultural Service Center located at 1000 Locust Street (Clermont Co. Fairgrounds) in Owensville.
At the meeting, participants will learn about local agricultural programs and the types of technical assistance available to farmers and land owners in Clermont County.
The Natural Resources Conservation Service, Clermont Farm Service Agency, Clermont Soil & Water Conservation District and Ohio State University Extension will be on hand to discuss how their programs can help support local farmers.
“Our programs are voluntary and designed to support agriculture and environmental quality as compatible goals,” says Lori Lenhart, District Conservationist with NRCS. “We’re hosting this breakfast meeting to let folks know these programs are available,” she adds.
