Batavia store owner arrested on drug charges | News
BATAVIA TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19)- Multiple agencies pitched in to search the store and home of a drug trafficking suspect.
On Tuesday, officers searched Earl's Market in Batavia.
Officers say they'd received several complaints that illegal bath salts and synthetic marijuana were being sold at the store.
During the search warrant, agents arrested Gurminder Singh Sandhu for drug trafficking.
In addition, agents from the Butler County Sheriff's Office served a related search warrant at the store owner's Liberty Township home.
The following items were seized during the search warrants:
- Bath Salts
- Synthetic Marijuana
- Drug paraphernalia
- Business related documents
- US Currency
- Computer Equipment
Additional felony charges for engaging in corrupt activities, drug possession, trafficking in drug paraphernalia and attempted receiving property, among others, are expected to be presented to the Grand Jury based on evidence and new information obtained from the search warrants.
