Pet hopefuls make paw-fect art | News

BATAVIA, OH (FOX19)- On Monday, cats and dogs at the League for Animal Welfare will dip their paws and tails in paint, all in the name of art.

Starting at 3:00 p.m., dogs and cats currently up for adoption will create works of art with their paws and tails.

The art will be matted, framed and available for auction at the 7^th annual Wine and Whiskers Wine Tasting and Auction event on September 29.

Proceeds from the art auction will benefit the cat and dog "residents" of the no-kill shelter.

This year's event is Saturday, September 29 at Tonic on Fourth and will feature wine and beer tasting, food, music, silent and live auctions, raffles and free valet parking.
