Man airlifted to hospital after being hit by tire debris | News

MOSCOW, OH (FOX19) - Aircare was called out to a freak accident in Moscow where a man was hit with pieces of a tire while working on his house.

The incident happened between 1-1:30pm on Tuesday.

According to reports, the man was using a saw to make repairs to his home on Water Street and sat the tool on a nearby tire.

That is when some how the tire split and debris hit the man in his face.

The victim was taken to University Hospital.

There is no word on the extent of his injuries at this time.
