Volunteers needed for bike trail maintenance days | Environment
MIAMI TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) - The first of four Saturday's where volunteers will assist with trail improvements at the Mitchell Memorial Forest is January 5 from 9am - 1pm.
Workers will assist with trail improvements that include: digging, sawing, pruning, moving rocks, removing forest debris, etc. Work will get dirty and strenuous, but all while enjoying the camaraderie with friends. All volunteers should wear proper attire for the weather and workload. Eye protection is highly recommended. Youth must be accompanied by an adult.
A volunteer waiver must be signed in order to participate. The waiver can be printed from our website at http://www.greatparks.org/volunteer/volunteer-opportunities.html and brought to the event.

Mountain Bike Trail Maintenance Days will occur on the first Saturday of every month through April.
Mitchell Memorial Forest is located at 5401 Zion Road in Miami Township.
