New Richmond man arrested after being caught with main ingredient for meth

RIPLEY COUNTY, IN (FOX19) - Deputies with the Ripley County Sheriff's office assisted the Osgood Police and Indiana State Police in an investigation into the theft of the main ingredient to make methamphetamine.

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Some couples might like to go to a movie, others might have been hitting the new casino Friday night, but police say this Clermont County couple decided to commit a crime.

Police say Robert and Carolyn Bolton stole scrap from O'Rourke Wrecking on Central Parkway.

Unfortunately for them, and officer was watching.

They spent the night in jail, until a judge released them on their own recognizance Friday morning.

The scrap metal is valued at less than $100.

Pair wanted using gift cards stolen from Miami Township residence

MIAMI TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) - Hamilton County Sheriff's continue to search for a man and woman wanted for using stolen gift cards throughout the county.

A burglary occurred in the 8000 block of Bridgetown Road in Miami Township on January 21. Gift cards  were taken from the residence and they were used on January 22 & January 24 at various locations throughout Hamilton County. 

The male and female suspects are shown in surveillance photos where they used the gift cards.

MILFORD, OH (FOX19) - Police need help identifying two suspects who broke into Milford Facet Jewelry and Pawn located at 505 Chamber Drive.

Surveillance video taken on December 20 at approximately 9:55 pm show the suspects literally bursting through the front door of the shop.  They entered the business by throwing a Blue Jays bowling ball through a front window.  

The first suspect is described as wearing a black sweatshirt, a red hoodie, a grey or tan ball cap and dark gloves.  The second suspect is described as wearing a green or brown bulky coat, a white mask and dark gloves.  He had an Under Armor backpack. 

The suspects took numerous pieces of jewelry such as silver rings and bracelets and caused a great deal of damage to the business.

MIAMI TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) - A man is in custody after allegedly stealing a mini-van with a 3 year-old child in the back seat Sunday.

Miami Township Police say that they were called to the Sunoco station at 1398 SR 131 around 1:18 for the report of a stolen Honda Odyssey mini-van, with a 3 year-old still in the back seat. Police say that after a description of the vehicle was broadcast to law enforcement, an officer spotted the vehicle, but lost it after the driver made several evasive maneuvers on Loveland Miami Road.

After police lost the suspect, another report went out that the child was dropped off at a Meijer gas station on SR 28 by a male in a large coat driving the Honda Odyssey. Police then relayed the description of the man in the "big coat."

Suspect arrested in connection with two apartment burglaries

MILFORD, OH (FOX19) - A Milfiord man has been arrested and charged with breaking into two apartments in the same complex.

Anthony Lawson has been charged with receiving stolen property from two residences on November 14 and 16 at the Concord Woods Apartment Complex.

Lawson is currently being held at the Clermont County Jail.

Man steals cartons of cigarettes from Batavia convenience store

BATAVIA, OH (FOX19) - The Clermont County Sheriff"s department released photos of a suspect wanted in a robbery in Batavia Township.

Kate's Carryout was broken into just after midnight on August 14. The male suspect shown in these surveillance photos threw a rock to break the glass in the side door and gain entry. Once in the store, he removed several cartons of cigarettes.
